Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a type of operation, with a popular name of bloodless one, in which through small holes of 10 and 5 mm the gall bladder is extirpated.

The indications for this surgical intervention are:

For the operation are necessary examinations, which can not be don at Vita Diagnostic & Consulting Center

The operation lasts 35 to 80 minutes, depending on the severity of gall bladder inflammation. The hospitalization is 24 to 48 hours and still on the 12th hour it is allowed to consume liquids and light food like biscuits and salty snacks. Post-operative pain is tolerable and is within the initial 24 hours.

The patients recover their normal social activity till the 48th hour after the operation. People, engaged with mental activity, return to their professional engagements on the 10th day. Patients, dealing mainly with physical labour, recover this activity between the 20th and 25th day.

Definite diet is observed in the initial 30 days, thereafter the dietary regimen is almost free.
